Srinagar Mar 12: A leopard strayed into Beerwah village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday creating panic in the entire area.
Quoting sources, news agency KDC reported that the big cat was spotted inside the compound of a residential house belonging to one Abdul Rashid son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Watalpora Beerwah.
Later a Wildlife Department team was sent to the spot to catch the leopard.
An official asked people of the area to be cautious till the leopard is caught.
