Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 70th death anniversary.
In her tweet, Mehbooba wrote: “Remembering #MahatmaGandhi on his death anniversary. His message of peace & harmonyhas always stood the test of time & is still as relevant today”.
Gandhi was assassinated by Hindu fanatics on 30 November in 1948 at Birla House in New Delhi.
