Senior National Conference leader and Member Legislative Assembly Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed concern over the delay in providing ex-gratia relief to the next of kin of the two youth Gowhar Ahmed Rather and Amir Lone who were killed allegedly in police and forces action earlier this month.
In a statement issued here, Mian Altaf urged the state government to provide the ex-gratia relief to and settle the SRO cases of the families of the two slain youth.
Mian Altaf said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti during her visit to Kangan had assured of providing relief to the families. “However till date, it has not been provided,” he said.
