Srinagar, Nov 11: A militant was killed in a gunfight with the police and security forces in Bemina area of Srinagar on Thursday night.
A police spokesman said on Twitter that a gunfight broke out in Srinagar after the police and security forces launched a search operation.
“01 unidentified terrorist killed. 01 AK rifle along with ammunition recovered. Search going on. Further details shall follow,” said the spokesman.

Earlier, a militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Kulgam area of south Kashmir.
