Srinagar June 5: Police on Saturday united a minor boy, who had separated from his family and was found at Mangnipora Bandipora stop in the north Kashmir by the district police.
The boy, who had mentioned his name as Adnan Ahmad Sofi, however failed to identify his parents or residence.
A police statement said the boy is the son of one Abdul Rashid Sofi, a resident of Kanlibagh Aloosa aged about 7 years.
Accordingly, the said minor boy has been handed over to his family by police post Aloosa after completion of all legal formalities, police said.
Family members of the said minor boy and locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of Bandipora police for tracing the family members of minor boy.
