Srinagar, Nov 14: A 32-year-old private school teacher allegedly hanged himself to death on Sunday in Khrew hamlet of Pampore area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the youth strangulated himself with a celing fan at his residence in Shaar Khrew.
The body was taken by police and after completion of medico-legal formalities is being handed over to his family for last rites, the official said.
He said that investigation has been initiated under relevant sections of law to ascertain the exact cause of death and reasons behind the extreme step.
