Srinagar, Apr 20: Arms and Ammunition were recovered after a terrorist hideout was busted in Reasi district on Saturday afternoon.
A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll that acting on the reliable information regarding presence of a hideout in the general area of Dalas Barneli, sub division Arnas, an operation was launched to sanitise the area which was led by Party of SPP Thilloo in the Dalas Barneli area of Arnas.
“During the search and cordon operation Police team recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the hideout in Dalas Barneli area of Arnas, ” he said.
“The recoveries include two detonators, twelve cartridge of Assault Rifle, one pull through, one hand held Tape recorder IED Enabled, one calculator IED enabled, one battery and few connecting wires”.
SSP Reasi Ms Mohita sharma- IPS further shared that search operation is still going on in the area of Arnas and Reasi Police is committed to neutralise any nefarious designs of Anti National Elements the officer said.
