Srinagar, Apr 21: An Over Ground Workers (OGW) by profession headmaster was arrested along with pistol and two Chinese grenades in Hari Budha area of Poonch district on Sunday.
The officials said that in a joint operation, launched by 39 RR of 6 Sector, Romeo Force with Jammu & Kashmir Police and SOG Poonch in Hari Budha, a registered OGW namely Qamar-ud-Din who is headmaster in school was arrested along with a Pakistan-made pistol and two Chinese grenades in his house.
They said the consignment recovered is suspected to be used to disturb the upcoming election in the Poonch area.
“The search is still in progress,” the officials added.
