Srinagar, Apr 15: One person died while another injured after a vehicle fell into gorge in Ukhral Pogal Paristan of Ramban district, officials said.
They said a car bearing registration number JK14B-6105 was coming towards Paristan from Senabati when it rolled down into a gorge near Senbati in Ukhral Pogal Paristan. During the incident one person died on the spot who was identified as Omkar Singh (39) son of Ragunath. The deceased was a PDD employee.
The injured person was identified as driver Mohammad Rafiq Gujjar son of Mohammad Sadiq resident of Senabati and was rushed to PHC Ukhral for treatment.
Police have lodged a case at PS Ramsoo under relevant sections of law and initiated investigations.
