Srinagar, Feb 29: A policeman from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district died after falling unconscious at his native place on Thursday.
A senior police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that one policeman namely Umer Mushtaq resident of Pulwama posted at DPL Pulwama fell unconscious following which he was moved to SMHS Srinagar.
He said the cop breathed his last at SMHS Srinagar and cardiac arrest is said to be the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, proceedings under relevant sections in this regard have been taken up.
