Rajya Sabha Chairman announces equal gender representation for panel of Vice-Chairpersons

New Delhi, Feb 1: The Vice-President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Jagdeep Dhankhar, has announced a reconstitution of the panel of Vice-Chairpersons, ensuring equal representation for women among its eight members.

The newly formed panel includes Ms Ramilaben Becharbhai Bara, Ms Seema Dwivedi, Dr Amee Yajnik, Ms Mausam Noor, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, Prabhakar Reddy Vemireddy, Prof. Manoj Kumar Jha, and Lt. Gen. (Dr.) D. P. Vats (Retd.), highlighting a commitment to gender parity and diverse representation in the leadership of the Rajya Sabha.
