District Industries Centre (DIC), Srinagar on Saturday organised a daylong awareness programme on industrial policy, schemes and initiatives of the industries department at the Convocation Complex of University of Kashmir.
The programme was organized in collaboration with KU’Department of Management Studies.
The programme was an endeavor by the department to shareinnovative ideas and policies with the students and encourage them to take upentrepreneurship for self employment, organisers said.
DC, Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary who was the chief guestat the occasion said an artisan complex would be established for artisans wherethey will prepare, exhibit and market their finished products.
