The administration here Wednesday ordered suspension of all construction works on Srinagar-Jammu national highway amid spike in COVID19 cases among the labourers.
An official said the District Magistrate directed construction companies to provide list of workers for carrying their COVID19 sampling.
The official said the decision to suspend the works was taken owing to the rise in COVID19 cases among labourers working on different projects.
