A trade union leader of Public Health Engineering department has been placed under suspension for his social media post on new domicile law in Jammu and Kashmir.
The suspension order has been issued by the ExecutiveEngineer, PHE Rajouri.
In the order, it has been mentioned that Assistant Linemanof the department namely Tahir Ahmed Shawl had uploaded an “objectionable post”on his social media account.
The post read as: “Is Domicile Rule an April fool giftfor Altaf Bukhari and his teammates?”
Officials of PHE said that the suspended employee is a tradeunion leader and often leads protests of employees in Rajouri in support oftheir demands.
