We will form next government in J&K: BJP

J&K General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vibodh Gupta Wednesday said that the BJP would win the assembly elections and form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir.

A statement of BJP issued here said that speaking at a meeting of the BJP workers of rural Jammu, Gupta said that the performance of the saffron party in the District Development Council (DDC) polls was the “last nail in the coffin of anti-nationalists”.

   

He said that the watershed victory of BJP in the DDC polls had hammered the last nail in the coffin of “anti-nationalist politics” in J&K.

The statement said that during the meeting, BJP’s J&K vice-president Sham Lal Sharma said that the saffron party had been promoting “internal democracy” in the region.

It said that the BJP’s Organisational Secretary Inderjeet Sharma appealed the party workers to “clear rumours spread by opposition on central laws including the farm laws”.

BJP’s District President Rajinder Chib appealed the workers to organise outreach programmes to explain the advantages of the laws enacted by the BJP-led government at New Delhi including the farm laws enacted and Citizenship Amendment Ac (CAA).
