National Conference (NC) President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah Thursday extended warm wishes to the people on the eve of Gregorian New Year.
A statement of NC issued here quoted Farooq while greeting the people as saying, “May every day of the New Year be filled with joy and happiness, I wish the new year that is about to set in acts as harbinger of a new era of peace and prosperity in Kashmir.”
The statement quoted Omar Abdullah in his greeting as saying, “I wish people a very happy New Year with a view that it will act as harbinger of healthier times, peace, prosperity. I hope the forthcoming year comes with new opportunities, possibilities and hope.”
