Government forces on Tuesday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Sumal village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that joint team of army’s 14 RR Unit and Bandipora police launched searches in Kuta Sathri locality of Sumlar.
The operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, he said.
