General Officer Commanding ‘Fire & Fury Corps’ Lt Gen YK Joshi visited forward locations in Eastern Ladakh, including the Daulet Beg Oldie (DBO) sector, on Tuesday, an Army spokesman said in a statement.
He said that the Lt Gen Joshi was accompanied by the GOC of’Trishul Division’, who briefed him about the operational preparedness beingmaintained in the sector.
Lt Gen Joshi interacted with troops deployed at the forwardposts and complimented them for their high morale and commitment, even in theharsh, arid terrain of Eastern Ladakh. He urged them to uphold the higheststandards professionalism of the Indian Army, the spokesman added.
