The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Monday welcomed the investigation conducted by the Special Team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and speedy delivery of justice by the Special Court in the heinous murder and rape case of a eight-year-old child in Kathua.
The spokesperson of the KCCI said, “The heinous nature ofthe crime had made it a fit case for handing out capital punishment to theguilty and we hoped that the decision would be further reviewed by highercourts.”
The KCC&I also felicitated the Special InvestigationTeam (SIT)of J&K Police led by Aftab-Ul-Mujtaba , RK Jalla, NaveedPeerzadaand other members of the team who carried out their duties in a professionalmanner despite the high pressure hostile environment the case generated.
