An SSB paramilitary trooper ended his life by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in this district, police said on Monday.
A police officer identified the deceased as Amit Kumar of Uttar Pardesh (UP). He was posted with 37 Battalion in Vilgam village of Handwara. Police have registered case (FIR No 116) and taken up the investigation.
