A 23-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances, here in Banola village on Monday, following which police have launched a probe.
Reports said, “Abdul Quyoom, son of Abdul Ghani and aresident of Ghani, was found lying unconscious in the village. He was shiftedto Mendhar sub-district hospital, where the doctors declared him as broughtdead.”
Block medical officer, Mendhar, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khanconfirmed that the man was brought dead to the hospital. “We conducted a postmortemexamination and later, the body was handed over to the police,” he said.
He added that the exact cause of death will only be clearonce the postmortem report is received.
