In a tragic incident, a child died and another was injured after the roof of their house collapsed in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Locals told Greater Kashmir that the roof of the house collapsed today morning in Charangri area of Mankote.
They identified the deceased as one-and-a-half-year-old Qamar, son of Mohd Reyaz.
They said six-month-old Anina, daughter of Mohd Javaid, who was injured in the accident, was shifted to sub-district hospital Mendhar for treatment.
Her condition is stated to be stable.
