Sumit Bhargav, Greater Kashmir correspondent from Rajouri district Friday was appointed as a member in the media certification and monitoring cell (MCMC) by the election authorities.
A resident of Rajouri, Bhargav had previously served in thecommittee during the previous assembly polls in 2014.
In a fresh order issued by the election authorities, Bhargavhas been notified as the member from media fraternity in the committee, whichlooks after the coverage of electronic and print media during election period,in order to ensure that the coverage remains the same for all politicalparties, without any bias.
