Two Kashmiri martial art players Naveed Ahmed and Saleem Ahmed have been selected for the junior national wushu coaching camp for the 7th Junior World wushu championship scheduled to be held in Brazil. The national camp started in SAI Bhopal on May 15 and will conclude on July 7.
Both the players cleared all the parameters of the selection committee of the Wushu Association of India and reserved berth for the National wushu coaching camp. The wushu association of India with support of Sports Authority of India is organizing national coaching camp for the selected campers at SAI Bhopal, read a statement issued by Wushu Association of J&K.
Earlier both the players had secured medals in the junior and sub junior national wushu championships held for the year 2017-18.
The office bearers of Wushu Association have congratulated both the players and wished them best of luck for the selection in the Indian team for the 7th Junior World wushu championship at Brazil from July 9th to 16.
