Residents of Syed Abad Soiteng area here decried unscheduled power cuts.
The residents said that the area has been reeling under darkness due to frequent power cuts. Locals said that the schedule usually changes after 15 days, “However, we face hardships as PDD authorities never stick to it.”
“The power situation in our area which is just five kilometers away from city centre is bad. One can only imagine what will be the situation in villages and far-flung areas,” said Mehraj-u-Din, another local.
Locals said that they use power judiciously and regularly pay monthly fee to the department.
