Srinagar Jan 21: Army on Friday claimed to have recovered 31kg narcotics near the Line of Control in J&K’s Poonch district.
As per an Army spokesman, the drugs weighing approximately 31kg were recovered “very close to the Line of Control” by a joint team of Army and J&K Police during a search operation on January 19 and 20.
The operation was launched following inputs about smuggling of narcotics through the Line of Control in Poonch, Army said.
