In the annual football league, J&K Police-XI outplayed Iqbal Sports by 3-0 in the premier division clash held at Synthetic Turf TRC ground here on Tuesday.
In the match, Police team totally dominated Iqbal Sportsregistering a 3-0 win. Deeraj Thapa of J&K Police scored first goal of thematch in the 30th minute and at half time Police was leading by 1-0.
In the second half, Police scored its second goal in the65th minute through Faisal Rashid. Ten minutes later in the 75th minute, Policemade it 3-0 as Yaseen converted free kick into goal for Police.
Earlier in the super division match, Solina Sports defeatedSaffaloo Sports by 2-0 goals.
Meanwhile, three matches of senior and junior divisions werealso played at Polo Ground. In the first match Shunglipora FC got a walkoveragainst NFC Peerbagh while as in second match Blossom Sports Soura were held to2-2 draw by Bismillah FC Noor Bagh. The third match was played between RoyalSports and Lonestar U-15, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
