With the excitement of I-League debut followed by home debut settling out, Real Kashmir FC are all set to take on under-pressure Neroca FC in another home game of I-League at TRC Turf Ground here on Sunday.

It is going to be a super Sunday clash of the national football in which both teams would be playing in front of capacity crowd.

Unlike other venues of the league, home debut of Real Kashmir as per official estimates saw 10561 spectators witnessing the match.

FANS & WEATHER TO PLAY ROLE

For the match, weather it is likely to be cloudy and as per forecast, there may be few showers in later part of the match. It is going to be cold and both teams may find it difficult initially. Real has always made it clear that weather is on their side and they want to take full advantage of that. They have been training in this kind of weather for long now. Another big factor is the full fan support. The Churchill clash was almost full house and tomorrow being Sunday, more spectators are expected to throng the venue, which means that support for home side would be huge.

VIEWS OF REAL KASHMIR’S COACH

The Scottish coach of the Real Kashmir David Robertson said that his side has got the start they wanted in I-League and would like to carry on the momentum. He said this during the pre-match match press conference.

“I believe past is past, the pressure of debut and home debut is over now and we are into the serious part of league. So far the journey is good, though it would have been better if we would have got full points against Churchill. We are taking it as one game at a time and focus on that particular opposition. After that we carry on and focus on the next game,” he said.

“Team is working hard and there is no excuse on that. We have been able to garner huge support from the fans in last match and I hope they keep coming and filling the stadium. They are important for us and important for the league. Above all, they are important as they boost the morale and energy of the players in the field,” he said.

He said that it is home game and they would like to take full advantages of the conditions.

“In home and away fixtures, each side wants to take full benefit of the home conditions. That is the real idea behind such fixtures. It is cold here, my players have been able to adapt to the conditions by working hard in the field and I hope it would be difficult for the opposition,” he said.

VIEWS OF NEROCA FC ‘S COACH

Experienced Spanish coach of Neroca FC Manuel Retamero Fraile, who is under pressure for poor start in the league, on Saturday said that his team is in Srinagar to earn full points. Since joining the Neroca FC in June, Fraile is yet to taste a win in I-League. “It is important game for us and we would like to end up with all the three points. I know there would be a huge crowd supporting home team, but I am here for the win. The recent results have not gone in our favour and tomorrow’s game is important for us,” Manuel Retamero Fraile said.

“It would be cold and conditions are not favorable for us. But when the teams enter field, they don’t care about it anymore and enjoy themselves. The team is fully fit and all the players are raring to go and win it,” he added.
