Srinagar, June 1: A delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) met Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta at Civil Secretariat in Srinagar on Tuesday.
A statement of EJAC issued here said that the delegation was led by EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam and comprised of prominent EJAC leaders. In the meeting, EJAC warmly welcomed Mehta and felicitated him on his posting as Chief Secretary.
The EJAC leaders presented a memorandum to the chief secretary on behalf of the employee fraternity wherein all the issues confronting the fraternity had been elaborated.
They assured full cooperation and support to the chief secretary.
