‘Departments to submit all cases to cabinet, Governor’

The government on Saturday ordered that the in President Rule, administrative departments will submit all the cases to Cabinet or Governor after approval of the advisor concerned to the State Administrative Council through Chief Secretary.  

The order reads: “In respect of the departments allocated to Advisors, all cases which are required to be submitted to the Chief Minister in co-ordination or the Governor in terms of Schedule-III and Schedule -IV of the Jammu and Kashmir Government Business Rules shall be submitted by the administrative department concerned with the prior approval of the concerned Advisor to the Governor through chief secretary.”

   

Meanwhile, the order further said that cases involving major policy decisions or having substantial financial implications shall be submitted by the administrative secretary concerned to the Advisor through the chief secretary.

“The powers already delegated to the administrative secretaries vide government order dated December 28, 2018 shall continue to be exercised by them,” the order reads.
