The Jammu and Kashmir government Wednesday transferred and posted a deputy inspector general and an in-charge deputy inspector general, while assigning additional charges to two other officers.
As per an order issued by the home department, Atul Kumar Goel, deputy inspector general, north Kashmir range, Baramulla,
has been transferred and posted as deputy inspector general, south Kashmir range Anantnag, vice Amit Kumar, who is presently undergoing medical treatment and whose orders of postings shall be issued separately.
Muhammad Suleman Choudhary, incharge deputy inspector general, Udhampur-Reasi range, has been transferred and posted as incharge deputy inspector general, north Kashmir range, vice Stul Kumar Goel.
Bhim Sen Tuti, deputy inspector general, DKR range, shall hold the charge of deputy inspector general, Udhampur-Reasi range, in addition to his own duties.
Vivek Gupta, incharge deputy inspector general, JSK range, shall hold the charge of deputy inspector general, Rajouri-Poonch range, in addition to his own duties.
Meanwhile, in a major reshuffle, the government has ordered transfer and posting of nine superintendent of police with immediate effect.
As per order, Shiv Kumar Sharma, SP, rural, Jammu has been transferred and posted as commandant, JKAP-8th battalion against an available vacancy.
Ashok Kumar Sharma SSP (security), VIP (tech) has been transferred and posted as SSP security, Jammu against an available vacancy.
Amit Bhasin, SP, awaiting orders of posting in PHQ has been posted as SP, security, Jammu, vice Tabasum Parveen. Suram Singh, SP headquarters Jammu has been transferred and posted as SP (rural), Jammu vice Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Tabasum Parveen, additional SP (security) Jammu has been transferred and posted as deputy commandment IR-18th battalion, against an available vacancy;
Suresh Kumar, deputy commandant, IR-9th battalion has been transferred and posted as additional SP, Leh. One post of SP or equivalent rank from the overall cadre strength of JKPS is also transferred for the purpose of drawal of salary of the officer.
Farooq Qesor Malik, SP, APCR, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SP (headquarters), Jammu vice Suram Singh.
Ifroz Ahmad, additional SP, Handwara has been transferred and posted as additional SP, Kupwara against an available vacancy.
