Baramulla: Five shops were gutted in fire at Jehlum market Baramulla on Saturday evening, said an official of fire and emergency service.
Official said that fire erupted from a mobile shop and within no time engulfed other shops.
Fire tenders from Baramulla fire and emergency service were pressed in to service which doused the flames after hectic efforts.
“The fire caused huge loss. Some of the shops were completely damaged while some where partially,” he said.
