Srinagar: Crime Branch (CB) Kashmir Wednesday produced a charge sheet against three persons of Srinagar and a Patwari in the land grab case.
A statement of CB Kashmir issued here said that the charge sheet was produced in case FIR No 59/2016 under Sections 420, 423, 193, 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) before the Court of City Judge, Srinagar against the accused Muhammad Yaqoob Halwaie of Habba Kadal and Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat of Zaldagar, Srinagar for intending to grab the share of the complainant Nazir Ahmad Halwaie of Kharyar Habba Kadal in the house land, which comes under road widening at Safriyar Habakadal.
It said that CB Kashmir received a complaint from Nazir alleging that the suspect Mushtaq and Yaqoob and Patwari Muhammad Sultan hatched a criminal conspiracy and by falsification of revenue records denied the complainant of his due share of compensation in the house and land which had come under road widening showing the suspects as owners and possessors of land and house and on the strength of these fake documents became successful in awarding the compensation in their favour and denied the complaint of his due share of compensation.
