Srinagar: National Conference (NC) senior leader and Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Muhammad Akbar Lone Saturday said that there was no semblance of governance in north Kashmir districts.
A statement of NC issued here said that interacting with scores of delegations from north Kashmir’s Baramulla, Bandipora, and Kupwara districts at his official residence in Srinagar, Lone said that the administration was failing even in its basic duties and had become synonymous with negligence.
He assured the delegations that he would raise the issues concerning them at all appropriate forums. Lone said that the “airdropped officials” in Kashmir, particularly in north Kashmir had failed to deliver and address the issues of the local populace.
