University of Kashmir is co-hosting the 6th World Congress on nanomedical sciences which began at Vigyan Bhavan here today.
The 3-day Congress was inaugurated by eminent national and international scientists including Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University Prof Talat Ahmad. The Congress will provide a platform for scientists to share a common dais and directly interact with globally renowned academicians, researchers and medical professionals, including Nobel laureates, from the area of nanomedical sciences and allied fields.
The University of Kashmir, led by the Department of Nanotechnology, will conduct a day long technical session on “Nanotechnology in Drug and Vaccine Development” in the Congress on Jan 9. It is for the first time that the University of Kashmir is co-hosting such an international Congress representing almost 30 countries.
