Srinagar: The Divisional administration, Kashmir has asked the Traffic department to allow the buses ferrying Secretariat and other government employees to ply within the Srinagar city.
A letter from the office of the Divisional Commissioner, PK Pole addressed to Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Srinagar city, says the employees have expressed concerns over their buses not being allowed to ply within the city, causing them inconvenience.
“In this connection, I am directed to request you that the RTC buses ferrying the government employees of Civil Secretariat, Old Secretariat, High Court etc including buses of SKIMS, GMC, SKUAST etc to and fro be allowed to cross/travel the city on the designated routes enabling them to reach/leave their offices on time” reads the letter.
