Srinagar, June 4: The Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir (KU), Friday condoled the demise of Dr Muhammad Afzal, a former student of School of Law.
A statement issued here said that a condolence meet was held via virtual mode wherein all current and former faculty members participated.
Paying tributes to the deceased, the participants termed the deceased as a noble soul.
The participants prayed for eternal peace to departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Dean School of Law, Kashmir University Prof Muhammad Ayub Dar said that the deceased was a pious soul, obedient student and a great human being.
HoD School of Law Prof Beauty Banday said that the deceased was a disciplined and bright student and his demise has send shock waves among faculty and students.
Meanwhile, students of School of Law also held a separate condolence meet via virtual mode and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. They also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
