Srinagar, May 31: At least 8 persons were bitten by stray dogs near Chest Diseases Hospital at Dalgate here on Monday evening.
Locals said stray dogs attacked many persons including pedestrians and shopkeepers injuring 8 of them.
They were rushed to SMHS Hospital by passersby. “Presence of canines has endangered people here. We appeal SMC Commissioner to look into the matter and check the canine menace,” they said.
