Srinagar: Residents of Gaw Kadal area here staged protest against Power Development Department (PDD) for its failure to provide electricity on regular basis.
The protestors including large number of women said, “we are being deprived of basic amenities including regular power supply in this holy month of Ramadhan.”
“Due to unscheduled power cuts, we are suffering”, said one of the protestors. The protesters blocked road and sought intervention of higher authorities. (KNT)
