3-day awareness campaign on RTI act, SVEEP, concludes

The three-day long awareness campaign on RTI ACT, SVEEP, and drugs abuse concluded on Saturday, here at Government Higher Secondary School Chandak.

The awareness campaign was organized by the regional outreach bureau, union ministry of information and broadcasting, in coordination with district administration.

   

CMO DrMumtaz Bhatti was chief guest on the occasion and deputy superintendent of police DrShaizaan Bhatt was the guest of honour. Principal of the host school, Vijay Puri, and a large number of students, staff members and other prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.

On the concluding day of campaign, the experts delivered lecturers on drugs abuse. Different artists also presented colourful cultural items, skits, while debate and a quiz competition were also organized. The CMO interacted with the students and explained them about the harmful effect of drugs.   Students, staff members and other faculty took a pledge on ‘No Drug Abuse’.

The chief guest, guest of honour and special guest were also presented mementoes by Sikander Qureshi, in-charge publicity officer.
