National Conference leader Ajaz Jan on Wednesday urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene to end the ongoing strike of the employees of the National Health Mission.
Jan met protesting NHM employees at Poonch and employees apprised him about their demands and also about the force being used against the NHM employees in Jammu time and again.
Jan termed this stretching strike as a “mark of failure” of state government and alleged that laidback approach of the present regime has aggravated the problem.
He said that use of force is no solution and government should hold talks with the protesting employees.
“As series of meetings and talks between Health Minister and protesting employees have failed, now Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti should herself intervene into the matter to end this strike,” he added. (GKNN)
