Member legislative council, Vibodh Gupta, on Saturday claimed that the BJP-led central government will soon sanction three percent reservation for Pahari-speaking people.
Addressing a press conference in Rajouri, the MLC, flanked by other BJP leaders, said, “The reservation to Paharis is a commitment that the party made during the polls and it will come concrete over it. The entire leadership is committed and the Pahari-speaking tribes will soon hear the good news.”
Party’s district president, Dinesh Sharma, BB Vaid, Ranjeet Tara, Ashwani Kumar and others were also present in the press conference.
