Amid prevailing tension, cross Line of Control fire between Indo-Pak armies continued for fourth straight day in areas of Nowshera sector.
As per official details with Greater Kashmir, the firing started at about 5 PM in Dhanaka, Ganya and other areas along LoC in Nowshera sector.
“Since 5 PM, both small arms firing as well as mortar shelling is going on in the area with dozens of mortar shells landing in villages along LoC,” an official said.
He said that some of the shells also landed close to some houses in the villages spreading panic in the area. However, there are no reports of any loss or injury of life so far.
Meanwhile, the army said that Pakistan started unprovoked firing and shelling on LoC in Nowshera sector with Indian army retaliating effectively.
