‘Empowering Women, Empowering Nation’ scheme launched

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir police, on Saturday launched an exclusive sale promotion scheme ‘Empowering Women, Empowering Nation’ to encourage women empowerment. The scheme will facilitate all women customers to earn a sure gift on fuel filling of different denominations and the minimum eligibility of buying fuel will be Rs 300 for two wheelers and Rs 1000 for four wheelers.

Pertinently, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, in a unique initiative with Jammu and Kashmir police, has established five petrol pumps, by the name of Police Pariwar Fuel Care in the district. The objective behind this effort is to contribute towards welfare of the J&K police and martyr’s families.

   

One such petrol pump, situated in Rajouri city, is being run by the women brave hearts of the belt force since over a year.

On the occasion, DIG RajouriPoonch Range, Deepak Kumar Slathia, kick started civil work for up-gradation of the fuel station.

Rajesh Sharma, BPCL’s territory manager (Retail) for J&K, distributed tokens of recognition among both the female and male staff.

Earlier, the area sales manager of BPCL, Sameer Qayoom, displayed various acts by which a customer can himself witness Q&Q checks at petrol pumps.
