The armies of India and Pakistan Sunday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Sunderbani sector.
Reports said that cross-border firing took place in the forward locations of Keri in Sunderbani sector. Besides small arms, mortar shelling was also witnessed in the area at around 6:30 pm and was going on, till last reports poured in.
Indian army’s spokesman said: “Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along LoC in Sunderbani sector. The Indian army retaliated effectively.”
