KP leader hurt over Farooq Abdullah’s criticism of Jagmohan

Jammu: Former National Conference (NC) leader Anil Dhar Tuesday expressed deep hurt over NC President Farooq Abdullah’s statement blaming former Governor Jagmohan for the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits and sought a Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) to reveal the facts.

In a statement issued here, Dhar said, “The TRC will end the hurtful, malicious, and motivated propaganda and the blatant lie about former Governor Jagmohan having engineered or facilitated the migration.”

Referring to the three-time chief minister Abdullah, he said venomous propaganda had now crossed the limits with responsible people like those having occupied the constitutional positions getting swayed and making painful observations on Kashmir history’s most horrendous chapter.

Dhar said that this was contrary to the fact that it was Pakistan and its proxies that still continue to be responsible for the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits.

“I wonder why Abdullah is trying to provide a shield to Pakistan and the terrorists knowing well their machinations,” he said.

He said that the statements of NC Vice President Omar Abdullah reflect communal overtones and give a feeling of his bias against the Hindus.
