Online applications invited for trainers for Hajj-2022

Srinagar: Online applications have been invited from the desiring Muslim government employees (permanent) of J&K till 20 December 2021 for imparting orientation or training to the pilgrims of Hajj-2022.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that the applicants must have performed a Hajj preferably during the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 and should generally not be more than 58 years of age.

   

He said that the applicants of age 25-58 years as of 31 December 2021 are eligible to apply online.

The spokesman said that they must have gotten two doses of approved vaccine against COVID-19.

He said that apart from this, the applicants should be fully conversant and fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi or local language and dialects and computer literate besides being efficient enough to receive and transmit the latest information and messages through email and WhatsApp, and other available sources of e-media.

The spokesman said that the applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of the logistics and rituals of Hajj and Umrah and be mentally and physically fit, capable of addressing and giving lectures to relatively large gatherings, and in a position to spare time for imparting training.

He said that any applicant having criminal records against him or her in any court of law should not apply.

The spokesman said that the desiring applicants could apply online through the Hajj Committee of India website www.hajcommittee.gov.in.

He said that the applicants have been advised to upload the requisite documents at the time of filling up online application forms.

The spokesman said that no offline application or copy of the downloaded online application would be accepted and that the last date and time for filling up online applications was 20 December 2021 till 11:59 pm.

He said that for further details, the aspirants have been requested to go through Circular No 3 dated 7 December 2021 issued by the Hajj Committee of India, Mumbai.
