Ramban, Nov 25: District Cooperative Development Committee meeting was held here today under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.
Deputy Registrar, Cooperatives briefly highlighted the agenda of the meeting along with the progress achieved on various initiatives like Jan Aushadi Kendras, PMKSK, CSC, Computerisation of PACS etc.
Thereafter, a detailed discussion was held wherein the DC stressed on marketing of local products produced by Cooperative societies. He suggested that the administration and Cooperative Societies can work in PPP mode where the administration would act as the facilitator and provide necessary support to the Cooperative Societies in order to market their products & benefit the farmers.
