Jammu, Nov 6: Police on Saturday continued the hunt to nab the two absconding policemen allegedly involved in a shootout at Arnia in which two persons were killed and two others wounded.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by SP Headquarters also started its probe into the incident that led to the killing of the two persons in Arnia.
Police said that the investigation was in progress though none of the absconding policemen involved in opening fire at the four persons had been held.
“The eyewitnesses of the case are being quizzed,” Police said.
Meanwhile, the condition of one of the two injured, Babar, continues to be critical.
“He has been operated upon,” GMC officials said.
An IR constable had opened fire using his service rifle at four persons when they had stopped his vehicle.
