Petrol bombs hurled at residences of former Congress leader, Panch in Tral

Unknown persons on Monday evening lobbed petrol bombs at the residences of a former Congress leader and a Panch in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Superintendent of police, Awantipora Mohammad Zahid Malik told Greater Kashmir that unknown persons lobbed petrol bombs at the residences of a panch namely Abdul Rashid Bhat at Kuchmullah and former Congress leader Ghulam Mohammad Mir at Batagund. 

   

He said the guards on duty retaliated but no loss of life or damage was reported in the twin incidents.
